Cloudflare’ deep relationship with Microsoft helps organizations seamlessly enhance their enterprise security and take the next step in their zero trust journey
Cloudflare, Inc. (NYSE: NET), a security, performance and reliability company that helps build a better Internet, announced today that it has won the Security Software Innovator Award at the Microsoft Security Excellence Awards. Cloudflare’s achievements have helped it rise to the top of the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA), an ecosystem of independent software vendors and services that integrate their security products and services with Microsoft’s. Over the past 12 months, winners have excelled in security, compliance, identity, governance and privacy.
Cloudflare has partnered with Microsoft since 2018 to provide mutual customers with an improved Internet experience by securing web applications and protecting employees through identity and device protection. Cloudflare’s deep integration across Microsoft 365 and Azure powers many of the largest Fortune 500 companies on their journey to zero trust, enabling customers to simply and easily support security and performance needs with faster performance.
“We are honored to be named Security Software Innovator of the Year by Microsoft,” said Alex Dyner, senior vice president of special projects at Cloudflare. “It’s been a pleasure working with the Microsoft team to ensure our mutual enterprise customers can seamlessly take the next step in their digital transformation and zero trust journey.”
At the Microsoft 2022 Excellence in Security Awards on June 6, 2022, Microsoft announced winners in 10 categories recognizing partner trailblazers, solution innovators, customer and technology champions, and game changers. Formerly known as the Microsoft Security 20/20 Awards, this award is awarded to Microsoft Partners for the second year in a row. Cloudflare’s Security Software Innovator Award recognizes an independent software vendor (ISV) that has partnered with Microsoft to develop innovative solutions for disruptive and transformative technologies.
“I’m ‘honored’ to recognize this year’s winners. MISA members often impress us with their shared vision to help create a safer world,” said Vasu Jakkal, CVP of Security at Microsoft. “They support this mission through their solutions and services, their dedication to innovation, and their dedication to their customers. Safety is a team sport that we are proud to defend with our MISA community. Hearty congratulations to all of this year’s winner.”
MISA was founded to bring together Microsoft leaders, ISVs and MSSPs to jointly defend against security threats and make the world a safer place. MISA members voted on the winners of the Microsoft Security Excellence Awards, giving them the opportunity to recognize the efforts of their peers and their commitment to making the world a safer place.
