Has anyone hit the jackpot?

The most recent Mega Millions lottery took place on February 15, and entrants had the chance to win a $53 million jackpot.

The winning numbers for this draw will be announced on Tuesday at 11:00 pm ET. 3x Megaplier bonus applied, possibly triple the regular bonus.

For the white ball, the lucky numbers are 2, 4, 15, 21 and 63, and the special yellow super ball is 19.

Did anyone win the Million Dollar Jackpot on February 15th?

The corresponding results are uploaded to the official website shortly after the end of the Mega Millions lottery. Here you can see how many people have won each prize (there are 9 different tiers in total) and whether they paid an extra $1 for the Megaplier feature.

As far as the latest draw is concerned, the site confirmed that no one has been able to guess all 5 white and yellow Powerball numbers in one lottery. This means that the jackpot prize goes unclaimed.

So that $53 million will go into the next lottery, which will take place on Friday, February 18th.

February 15 Mega Millions Lottery Results

Except for the unclaimed jackpot, no one was able to get all 5 white balls (worth $1 million).

However, 11 people did get four white balls and one yellow ball, netting $10,000 each. Of those players, 5 also chose Megaplier, so their prize tripled to $30,000.

Meanwhile, 311 entrants landed four white balls and won $500. About 69 of those players also opted for the multiplayer option.

A total of 643 people matched the three white numbers and the yellow Powerball (winning $200), and 137 of them increased their winnings through the Megaplier.

As for the lower tier prizes, a total of 33,252 people won $10 each. They do this by getting three white balls or two white balls and a yellow ball themselves.

About 100,529 players won $4 by guessing a white ball and a yellow ball.

In the end, 233,485 only matched the yellow ball, thus winning $2.

How to Play Mega Millions

$2 is required to enter the Mega Millions lottery draw. Tickets can be purchased in most of the country as they are sold in the 45 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands. They are not available in Alabama, Alaska, Hawaii, Nevada or Utah.

If you decide to play, then you need to choose numbers for the standard white ball (which can be any value between 1 and 70) and the special yellow super ball (any value between 1 and 25).

If you manage to guess all the numbers correctly, you will win the jackpot jackpot. The amount shown here depends on a number of factors, including ticket sales and the time since the last pickup.

Just like a separate Powerball lottery, you can pay out the jackpot as a one-time total or as an annuity spread over a 29-year period.

The jackpot isn’t your only hope as a Mega Millions player, though. There are several other tiers of prizes up for grabs, ranging from $2 to $1 million. How much you win here depends entirely on how many numbers you match and whether you opt in to the Megaplier bonus.

Speaking of which, you can choose to spend an extra $1 on your ticket purchases to multiply your winnings. Of course, if you’re not winning anything, this feature won’t make any difference.

Megapliers can be set to 2X, 3X, 4X or 5X, a factor that is randomly determined at the start of each draw. For example, on February 15th, it is set to 3X.
