Sabrina Claudio’s collaboration with Beyoncé’s new album Renaissance has sparked a backlash from some fans.
Beyoncé revealed the tracklist for her new album this week, which includes previously released single Break My Soul, which includes I’m That Girl, Alien Superstar and Virgo’s Groove.
Sabrina Claudio appeared on one of the tracks, but some Twitter users weren’t happy with the credit.

On Wednesday (July 20), Beyoncé released the tracklist for “Renaissance” eight days before the album’s official release on the streaming platform.
The album features several artists including Skrillex, Labrinth, Lucky Daye, Tems, SYD, Nija Charles, Honey Dijon, Drake and more.
Sabrina was credited on the album’s eighth track, titled “Plastic on the Couch,” but the collaboration sparked criticism from some Twitter users.
As Billboard reported in 2018, Sabrina apologized for the racial slurs fans found in screenshots of a since-deleted Twitter account used by the singer.
The outlet reported that Sabrina apologized for her “past ignorance” and wrote: “I’m so sorry for the insensitive words I used. Some things you see are true and others are not. .”
She added: “I realize my past ignorance is affecting people I care about so much, and I’m sorry. I made mistakes and while I can’t get them back, I’ll learn from them.”
Some fans are unhappy with Sabrina’s credit
After her apology resurfaced on social media, some Twitter users expressed disapproval of Sabrina’s credit for the new album.

“Renaissance” contains a total of 16 tracks and will be released on the streaming platform on July 29, 2022.
Beyoncé announced the project in mid-June after announcing that she had been working on her seventh studio album for a while.
