Shakira is making a big move. The 45-year-old singer has just released her new song “Te Felicito” with artist Rauw Alejandro, and the music video for the single has surprised fans on Instagram.
“YAAAAASSSSSSS I stream so many times,” commented one listener. Plus, Shakira (plus her super sculpted abs and legs) is clearly living her best life in the video. She’s been posting sneak peeks all week leading up to the song’s release – and #fitspo is the main one.
First, there’s this bright purple cutout look:
Coupled with a transparent and fluffy robe, Shakira’s long legs were fully displayed.
Obviously, she won’t skip leg day. But what does her workout routine look like anyway? For starters, the singer works up a sweat with trainer Anna Kaiser six days a week. Kaiser’s signature dance interval workouts (part of her AKT method) help Shakira build her stamina to shine on stage.
“Shakira is very focused on the consistency of her workouts – strength, cardio, stamina, strength, flexibility, everything‘ Caesar told Fashion. The 90-minute dance interval workout combines cardio, strength training, and tandem flow with “very little rest.”
“She’ll do some moves on her own to add to her hip talent,” adds Caesar. “Although it was intense, she still had a lot of fun!”
At times, Caesar would change the way Shakira trains based on her rehearsal schedule. “She had a long dance rehearsal yesterday afternoon, so we just focused on pure strength for an hour in the morning. [Some days] She had longer days of body dance rehearsal, so she started out short: 20 minutes,” she explained E! information.
Strength training, high-intensity interval training (HIIT) circuits, and swimming are all great options for a dance-heavy day, she adds.

Diet-wise, Shakira focuses on filling her plates with lots of vegetables and lots of protein. Breakfast might be eggs or avocado topped with tomatoes, olive oil, and sea salt.Afterwards, the singer made a smoothie with plant protein, berries, vegetables or green powder, Kaiser told E! information.
By the end of lunch, Shakira was ready to eat some fish, with vegetables or salad. Later in the afternoon, she might have a quick bowl of soup—artichokes, leeks, and eggplant, with carrot ginger being her favorite, and some cucumbers seasoned with lemon and salt.
Dinner is hot fish and more vegetables, or her favorite main course: pork chops. And, for dessert, Shaqi stretched out his hand for a low-sugar dark chocolate bar.
Mental health is also an important part of the singer’s daily well-being. Kaiser encourages Shakira to put down her phone more often to help her focus. “@theannakaiser rule: turn off your phone before the workout is over!” Shakira captioned an old Instagram video.
Caesar tells us that it’s all about focusing on what’s important E! information: “She’s shooting a new music video, she’s putting out new music, and she’s still really involved in her charity school in Columbia. So many things happen at once.”
“Plus, she’s a mom and she has kids and she wants to spend time with them too. There aren’t enough hours in the day. So we have to refocus. Refocus, refocus, and figure out how to live our lives. right now.”
